Unique Decor and Excellent Food
We had a fantastic stay with a spacious room featuring a cozy four-poster bed and charming decor. The meals were superb with generous portions, especially the mushroom stroganoff and pie of the day. The friendly atmosphere in the pub, paired with the quirky decor, made our evenings enjoyable. One downside was the lack of breakfast on weekdays, but numerous local options were nearby to fill that gap.

Quirky, quirky, quirky.
My stay was filled with delightful surprises! The quirky decor, like the life-sized plastic skeleton tickling the ivories at the bar, brought so much character to the space. Plus, the cozy four-poster bed and spotlessly clean bath made my room a dreamy retreat after exploring the breathtaking Peak District!
Strongly recommend! 🌟❤️

Perfect Location with Friendly Vibe
I had a lovely stay in the Deluxe Double Room for three nights. The location was fantastic for exploring the Peak District, with access to local caverns and shops just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. One downside was the limited breakfast options nearby, but the charm of the hotel and its amenities more than made up for it.

We spent three nights in a lovely room that was spacious and beautifully furnished, perfect for unwinding after our daily hikes. The relaxing atmosphere in the pub made it a joy to try their great ales, and I loved that they allowed muddy boots after our walks. There were a couple of minor hiccups with the breakfast drinks not being refreshed, but that didn’t take away from our fantastic experience! 😊

Charming Stay with a Cozy Atmosphere
Our night in the deluxe double room was delightful! We enjoyed a cozy atmosphere, charming decor, and the convenience of nearby dining options. A lovely local café offered generous discounts for breakfast. Plan for dinner outside, as the on-site menu is basic yet the town has delicious alternatives. Just remember your tea!

The spacious Deluxe Double Room offered a luxurious bed and a refreshing shower. Conveniently, there was free parking just across the road. Unfortunately, the lack of breakfast during our stay was disappointing, as we had to find alternative dining options. early morning noises from the staff disrupted our dog’s sleep, which was less than ideal.
